Chin Augmentation
Facial implants are used to augment the facial skeleton. Plastic Surgeons will frequently use such implants to bring better balance to facial features. For instance, a patient with a recessed chin can have the profile of the chin brought forward with an appropriately sized facial implant.
Implants can be placed in conjunction with another cosmetic procedure. During a facelift, a patient may wish to have implants placed over the cheekbones to help restore a more youthful appearance to this region.
